GA. Juvenile With An Ankle Bracelet HiJacks Car and Goes on Crime Spree

A Henry County teenager wearing an ankle monitoring bracelet went on a crime spree last week that included two carjackings, an armed robbery and a auto theft, according to police.

Chansamone Nhotsombath and his family were the first of many victims who encountered the 16-year old.

“He approached me and asked for a ride down the street. He said he was trying to get home, so we gave him a ride,” said Nhotsombath.

“And that’s when he pulled out the gun and carjacked us,” said Nhotsombath.

20 minutes later, the teen picked up some of his friends in the stolen car and robbed a group of people at a gas station. After that, the teen carjacked a woman.

Later that night, the bold criminal found his first victim’s ID and went to his home using the keys he already had and stole another one of Nhotsombath’s vehicles.

He then led police on high speed chase in it. The teen was wearing an ankle monitoring bracelet when he committed those crimes.
