Six teens were arrested in fight at a Wichita high school Tuesday afternoon.
An SRO at Southeast High School called for backup when the fight broke out near the cafeteria around 12:15 this afternoon.
Wichita Police Lt. Sam Hanley said it started when someone said something that offended someone else, and erupted to a fight involving at least 40 people.
Officers arrested six boys for disorderly conduct. One was taken to juvenile detention and the others were released to their parents.
A teenage girl was punched in the face during the fight and was treated by a school nurse.
