AL. Three students recovering after fight in High School parking lot

Three students are recovering after they were injured during a fight in the Loachapoka High School parking lot.

According to Lee County Sheriff Jay Jones, three students were injured during a fight that broke out in the school’s parking lot shortly after school let out.

Authorities say the students were cut by an “edged weapon” however they can’t confirm that it was a knife. Two of three students were transported to the East Alabama Medical Center for treatment however their injuries were not considered serious.

Investigators are working to determine what started the fight and if any legal measures need to be taken. So far no arrests have been made.
