Connecticut. Fight at Wilton High School Leads to Arrest

Police say there is a history between the two teens involved.

An 18-year-old Wilton student was arrested on a charge of third-degree assault for allegedly throwing a 15-year-old student against a locker, choking and then throwing the victim to the floor.

Police arrested Sergei Greenlee on school grounds Friday, after the victim came into the police department at the end of the school day.

“It was a dispute involving a third party,” said Lt. Donald Wakeman of the Wilton Police Department.  “There is some history between the two.”

Wakeman said it appears the two were fighting about a female student.

Greenlee is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 4.

Wakeman said the school reported the incident and that the victim had “noticeable red marks, but needed no EMS treatment.”

In a related incident, the 15-year-old victim reportedly sent “threatening types of text messages” to another teenager at Wilton High School. That case has been closed.
