FL. School fight caught on video and posted to Facebook

A simple facebook or you tube search finds hundreds (or more) student fights.

While there are a ton of sites devoted to the negatives of social media, one of the positives is the evidence these posted video recounts are providing for law enforcement and the courts.

A cell phone video posted on a student’s Facebook page shows a female student grabbing another girl’s hair, throwing her to the ground ultimately sending her to the hospital.

Calvin Hunsinger School is located at 1863 N. Betty Lane in Clearwater and has students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. It’s a school that’s designed for students with emotional behavior disorders.

In the video there are a whole bunch of kids standing around screaming their heads off and egging the fight on with no supervision in an in-school suspension class.

According to the student, her victimization continues as the fight video spreads on line.

On the positive side of social media, law enforcement and the courts are paying attention. Though kids might use it for bullying, detectives will use it for evidence, in some cases even posting video themselves to get tips on criminals.
