Tennessee: School Officer and Student Charged in Fight Crash Through Window

Here again teachers and principals intervene in fight to protect the students.  The staff are injured.

Thus showing again that most school violence involve students, not staff and staff need tools to keep these students safe.

A Chattanooga school officer and a student crashed through a window when the officer tried to break up a student fight.

The officer suffered minor injuries.

The student who went through the glass and the other student involved in the Thursday fight at Brainerd High School were taken to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.

One student is charged with two counts of assault and disorderly conduct as both the assistant principal and a teacher were hit when they tried to intervene.
